How your data is handled.

What Pulse does with your company’s data today, in plain words, and the gaps you are most likely to ask about.

Pulse’s paid service is still being set up. Founding customers start with the free two-week pilot, by agreement. Ask us to tell you when it opens.

How Pulse is built

Six things that protect your data.

  1. Each company’s data is kept apart.

Every request is checked against your company, and the database itself hands back only your company’s rows (row-level security). If any check is missing or disagrees, Pulse refuses rather than guesses.

  2. People see only what their role allows.

Signing in is not enough on its own. A person also needs an active place in your company, access to Pulse and a role that allows the screen or the action. Your company admin manages your people.

  3. Files are checked, and a person approves them.

Pulse checks every file you upload: its type, size and name, then its sheets, rows and fields. A person sees what the file will add, change or set aside, and approves it: someone in your company, or a NeuraFlow staff member whose role allows it. Nothing from a file enters a plan before that, and a person, never Pulse, publishes every plan.

  4. The files you upload stay private.

Your files are stored privately, never at a public web address, and Pulse does not hand an original file back out. They are used only for your company. If AI is switched on, a few of their rows go to an outside AI service, as the next point says.

  5. AI is a switch, and it never changes a number.

AI is off unless it is switched on for your company. When it is on, it explains plans, helps word the Weekly Pulse and suggests which of your columns means what. For that, Pulse sends an outside AI service (OpenAI) the plan facts behind each answer and, to match columns, your column headings and up to five rows of the file, each value cut to 40 characters. A person confirms every match. It never calculates or changes a number, approves a plan, changes access or settings, places an order or contacts a supplier.

  6. NeuraFlow staff work within set limits.

NeuraFlow sets up each company and helps run it. Our staff work inside your company only through the switches their role gives them, and every change to those switches is recorded. They see your plans and the data Pulse has taken in from your files. Seeing the cells inside the files you upload is a separate switch, off for all our staff until NeuraFlow turns it on for a person or a staff level. A change our staff make in your company shows in its history as “NeuraFlow support”, never a staff member’s name; NeuraFlow’s own record keeps who made it.

Plainly

What is not in place yet.

We would rather you hear it here than find out later.

  • No virus scanning of uploaded files. Pulse’s file checks are not a virus scan.
  • No two-step login, and no signing in with your company’s own login (single sign-on).
  • No security certification.

Ask us anything about your data.

We answer it on the call, with Pulse open in front of you.
